Mini Hunter Trial Points Trophies
With only the final mini hunter trial to go on Saturday 21st August the points competition is hotting up. In the 1’ 6” class Clara Wade leads on 19 with Jane Fysh in hot pursuit on 17 and Hannah Cattley on 15 points. The 2’ class is very tight with Natalia Bailey on 17 only just ahead of Wynne Spencer on 16 and Reuben Isle on 15 points. Reuben Isle leads the 2’ 6” class in another closely fought competition on 19 points with Emma Stewart second on 18 and Roddy Saxby 3rd with 17.
Summer Dates for EME Clinics
With the summer holidays fast approaching we have a few spaces available on the XC Refresher evening on the 28th July. There are 2 hour XC sessions for children during the day on the 18th August with adults catered for after 6pm with another XC refresher evening. The Childrens Fun Day on the 19th is designed for all the children too young for Kids Camp where there are fun, games and a picnic ride round the Camp Hill estate. Kids Camp starts on the 23rd August and the holidays finish with a XC ride on Friday 27th.
Roadworks
Update on the current A1 roadwork situation. You are now able to turn off, and rejoin, the A1 North onto the B6267. The A1 south junction is now permanently closed.
Camp Dates for 2010
We will be running two Adult Camps this year in order to keep the groups small. The first will be on the 21st 22nd and 23rd June and the second will be on the 13th 14th and 15th September. The Kids Camp for 10 – 16yr olds will be on the 23rd 24th and 25th August. If there are any teenagers who would like a 15+ Camp aimed more at the competitive rider who wants to solve problems, improve and have fun let us know and we’ll put one on for you
Mini One Day Event on 20th September
The sun shone and we had a lovely day for the Mini ODE. It was super that so many first timers had a relaxing and fun introduction to eventing
