Mini Hunter Trial Points Trophies
The Mini Hunter Trial Series is now finished for 2010 and in the 1’ 6” class Jane Fysh’s magnificent win with Sugar earnt her another 10 points giving her a total of 27 to take the first place points trophy. Hannah Cattley’s 7th place at the August event gave her 19 points altogether making her equal to Clara Wade’s score. They were separated using the countback system where we compare the seconds they were away from the optimum each time they competed and Clara takes the trophy for second and Hannah the third.
The 2’ class was another closely fought competition with the top three all changing places. Wynne Spencer and Becky gained another 10 points giving her a total of 26 points and first place. Harris Bowman’s third place in the August event gave him another 8 points to add to his previous score of 15 and moved him ahead of Natalia Bailey who finished the season in third place on 19 points.
In the 2’ 6” class there were no changes in the position for the top three. Both Emma Stewart in second and Roddy Saxby in third were unable to compete due to a lame horse and being on holiday respectively but Reuben Isle finished the series with a win with Dynamite Dan giving him an 11 point lead to win the trophy in his first year of competing at this height.
