Welcome to Eleanor Mercer Equestrian...
We are a small private equestrian centre set within the 300 acre estate. Facilities include 2 stable yards, 45 acres of post & rail paddocks, 30m x 40m floodlit arena, full set of BSJA show jumps and a 1.5 mile Cross Country course plus 3 miles of off road tracks perfect for hacking out.
Childrens Camp
The Childrens Camp ran from the 27th to the 29th August with 18 children attending, and in contrast to the rest of summer the sun shone throughout. Children had a wonderful time exploring the estate on bicycles and ponies with our two lovely camp mums (who deserve a big thank you for giving up their time) Sarah and Sue rounding them up at regular intervals to feed them.
Mini Hunter Trial Series
The Mini Hunter Trial series started on the 18th May and it was lovely to see so many people enjoying themselves riding over the little fences in the front park. Everyone who was placed was awarded points and there will be trophies and prizes for the competitors with the most points in each class at the end of the series.
Mock Hunt
On the Friday after Christmas we held our first, very enjoyable, children’s mock hunt.
